Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game are expected to release later this year. Mortal Kombat X is available now for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. This first DLC pack looks set to keep the Mortal Kombat X community afloat through the summer - but fans will soon move on to the question of who's next? Downloadable versions of story mode characters seems increasingly likely, but it wouldn't be surprising at all if NetherRealm Studios has even more in store. However, it's worth noting that it's one of the skinnier members of the species - this might suggest that we'll see a fast-paced fighting style from the alien warrior. The iconic movie character will appear alongside Jason Voorhees and two other classic Kombat fighters as part of the Kombat Pack DLC add-on. As well as his affinity with rocks being represented in his design, he also seems to have put on quite a bit of muscle mass since we last saw him as a bonus character in Mortal Kombat: Unchained.įinally, the Predator looks almost exactly how you would expect if you've seen any of the movies the character appears in. Last night, a Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition listing on the Xbox Store page confirmed that the Predator will be an additional character in the game. Her fellow returning character Tremor looks quite different from his early appearances as a simple palette swap with the other ninjas. It's unclear at this point which version will be used when the character is released. Tanya's appearance is very close to how she looks in story mode, which might suggest that her render is slightly outdated - she was advertised in-game over the past couple of weeks, and the model used for that was given a few tweaks, like glowing eyes and slightly different attire.
